SARDINIA
ENDLESS SUMMER
18 - 26 September 2027
By September, Sardinia feels almost unreal. The heat of high summer has softened, the roads are quieter, the sea is still warm, and the island seems made for those who want to feel life at full force.
Sold out every year since first launch, Sardinia's Endless Summer returns in 2027 as an extended nine-day edition, a full immersion into one of the Mediterranean’s greatest riding landscapes. This is not a simple lap of the island. It is a flowing journey through mountains, sea roads, ancient villages, wild interiors, granite valleys, mining roads, beach lunches and long, empty bends that seem built for motorcycles.
We begin in Rome, warming up through the old imperial countryside before boarding the overnight ferry. From there, Sardinia opens in stages: the high limestone heart of the Supramonte, the legendary eastern road, the beaches of the south, the dramatic mining coast, the western cliffs, the colourful road to Alghero, the quiet northern interior and the final sweep back toward the sea.
This is a tour for riders who want more than distance. It is about rhythm, light, food, the joy of life and the feeling of arriving somewhere amazing — by motorcycle!

Tour Plan
Day 1 (18/09)
‘Arrival in Rome +
Warm up ride’
Rome countryside, sea dinner and overnight ferry
The trip begins in Rome, where the group comes together, the motorcycles are collected, and the tour rhythm starts to build. After the briefing, we leave the city behind and ride into the softer hills north of Rome — old roads, lakeside air, volcanic landscapes and the first bends of the tour. By evening we reach the coast for a delicious fish dinner by the sea, before boarding the overnight ferry to Sardinia. The island is still ahead, but the tour has already begun: engines warm, riders settled, and the Mediterranean crossing transporting us into another world.
Day 2 (19/09)
‘Into The Supramonte’
Ancient stone, mountain roads and the first taste of Sardinia
We wake up in Sardinia and ride south, leaving the port behind and heading straight into the island’s wild interior. The roads begin to climb, open and twisty, leading us toward one of Sardinia’s most powerful landscapes: the mountains, plateaus and ancient stone world of the Supramonte. This is the day the island changes character. Sardinia stops being a coastline and becomes something older, rougher and deeper. We ride through high country, visit one of the great prehistoric sites of the island, stop for lunch in Orgosolo, a mountain town with a strong and colourful local identity, and finish the day atop Dorgali, with the sea below us and the mountains behind us.
Day 3 (20/09)
‘The Great Eastern Road’
Legendary bends, beach time and a southern arrival
Today is one of the signature riding days of the tour. We follow one of Sardinia’s most celebrated motorcycle roads, where the tarmac cuts through limestone, forest and rock in a rhythm that feels almost endless. The morning is about flow: bend after bend, views opening suddenly between the mountains, the road constantly pulling us forward. By midday, the landscape drops toward the sea and the pace softens. There is time for a swim, a proper lunch near the beach, and that particular Sardinian feeling of stepping off the bike with salt in the air. In the afternoon we turn inland again, crossing back through the mountains before descending toward the south-east coast, where a relaxed countryside dinner waits at the end of the day.
Day 4 (21/09)
‘The Beach Day’
South coast, city beach, western light
This is the day of sun, sea and contrast. We begin on the south-east coast and ride along the lower edge of the island, where the road alternates between open coastal stretches, small villages and sudden views of blue water. The morning brings a coffee stop by the beach, with the capital close enough to feel but never dominating the day. From there we keep moving west, letting the island change again: softer light, wider roads, warmer colours and a stronger sense of open space. We stop for a swim and lunch at the southernmost tip of Sardinia, Capo Spartivento, before continuing towards the wild western side of the island, where the road becomes more dramatic and the sea feels less polished. We arrive near the Costa Verde with the sun beginning to drop — the right place to end a true beach-and-road day.
Day 5 (22/09)
‘The Mining Coast’
Cliffs, tunnels, sea stacks and the old west
Today Sardinia turns raw and cinematic. We ride through the island’s old mining country, where the road is carved between mountains, abandoned industrial history and some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the Mediterranean. This is a day of contrasts: deep valleys, dark rock, bright sea, old villages, cliff roads and sudden views that make the whole group slow down. Here the riding into the mountains is truly exciting and atmospheric, with enough technical sections to keep it engaging without becoming tiring. Lunch is on the patio in a small fishing town where the food is fresh and exactly right for the place. Later, the road carries us through a landscape that feels almost like a film set — empty spaces, old western character and the quiet colours of the island’s interior — before we reach our overnight stop near the water.
Day 6 (23/09)
‘North along the Wild West’
Rocky coves, coastal bends and the road to Alghero
The day begins slowly, with time for a swim in one of Sardinia’s most beautiful rocky coves. Then the riding builds again, carrying us north through a part of the island that feels both remote and deeply Mediterranean. Lunch comes in Bosa, one of Sardinia’s most atmospheric coastal towns - colourful, historic and perfectly placed between sea and river. From there, we take one of the great scenic roads of the island, a ribbon of tarmac running high above the coast, with views that keep opening wider and wider. By late afternoon we turn inland, leaving the sea behind for a final mountain section before reaching our hotel near a quiet lake. It is one of the most varied days of the tour: swim, coast, colour, mountains and calm.
Day 7 (24/09)
‘The Northern Interior Loop’
Forest roads, quiet villages and Sardinia away from the crowds
After several big crossing days, this loop gives us a different Sardinia: quieter, greener and more hidden. We ride at leisure, following inland roads through forest, hills and small towns where tourism feels far away. The pace is relaxed but the riding is still rewarding — flowing bends, open countryside, shaded sections and the kind of roads that make a motorcycle feel like the natural way to move through the island. This is not the tourist coast. It is Sardinia’s interior: honest, quiet, rugged and beautiful in a slower way. The day is built around good rhythm: coffee in a local square, a destination lunch, and enough time in the afternoon to enjoy the ride back without pressure.
Day 8 (25/09)
‘Gallura and the Final Experience’
Granite country, mountain villages and a last coastal evening
Our final full riding day takes us north-east through Gallura, one of Sardinia’s most distinctive regions. The landscape changes again: granite, cork oak, dry stone walls, mountain towns and roads that twist through a wilder, more sculptural terrain. We stop for coffee in a historic inland town, then continue through the granite country, where the riding feels open, flowing and full of character among the countless oak trees. The afternoon carries us gradually back toward the sea, and by early evening we arrive on the coast for a final dinner by the water. There is no need to rush. The ferry waits later, and the last ride into Olbia follows the panoramic road with the sea beside us — a fitting final stretch before boarding overnight for the mainland.
Day 9 (26/09)
‘Back to Rome’
Disembark, bike return and farewell
We arrive back on the mainland in the morning and ride the final short stretch to return the motorcycles. After eight days on the road, the tour ends where it began — but with Sardinia now fully under the skin. From here, riders can head to the airport, continue their travels, or stay a few extra days in Rome. The riding is over, but the island tends to linger: the roads, the sea, the food, the light, and that feeling of an endless summer that somehow lasted just long enough.

FAQs
Q: How do we get to the island?
We take the overnight ferry from the mainland. This is a classic part of the adventure; your luggage stays in our support van, and you enjoy a cabin on the ship, arriving refreshed and ready to ride in Sardinia the next morning.
Q: Why is Sardinia considered a "Motorcycle Mecca"?
The island is famous for its abrasive, high-grip asphalt and roads that were built for curves, not efficiency. With very little traffic in September, it is the ultimate playground for spirited riding.
Q: Is this tour suitable for those riding independently?
Yes. Sardinia can be a maze, but we provide expert-vetted GPX files that ensure you don't miss the best roads and viewpoints, even if you choose to ride solo away from the group.
Q: What is the weather like in late September?
We call it "Endless Summer" for a reason. Temperatures are usually a perfect 22°C to 26°C, and the sea is still warm enough for a swim at the end of the day.
